General Motors is recalling over 162,000 full-size trucks for faulty brake software. So far, the affected vehicles are the GMC Sierra Light-duty trucks and Chevrolet Silverado from the 2019 model year. Those with these trucks should take their vehicle to the dealership. This software issue has been an issue for GM for some time now. It began in December when GM announced that is was recalling 550,000 pickups and CT6 Cadillacs. According to a GM spokesman, this software issue only shows up in 1% of the vehicles that received the new software, but those who have the vehicle should still get their vehicles looked at to be safe.
