Early Sunday morning, around 2:30 a.m. a rollover crash occurred on the East-side of San Antonio, near Loop 1604 and Interstate-10. According to police, the 19-year-old driver was taking directions from two passengers that were in the car with him. One of the passengers told the driver to go left, the other told him to go right. Soon, the driver drove straight over a bridge, causing a rollover. One of the passengers, a 20-year-old man in the backseat was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the front-seat passenger were taken to University Hospital for their injuries. The driver is said to have suffered critical injuries.
