More than 250,000 SUVs, vans, and trucks are being recalled by Nissan due to a major defect in the vehicle’s airbags. The recall focuses specifically on Takata airbags that have been reported to explode with excessive force and potentially hurl projectiles. Per the terms of the recall, the front driver airbag inflator will be replaced with a different airbag from another vendor.
