According to the recall, this chest is unstable and can easily tip over. This product is not up to the voluntary industry standard and has the potential to seriously injure or even kill children if it is not anchored to the wall.
If you do happen to have this product, you are encouraged to return the product. There, you will be able to get a full refund, or it will be repaired. Consumers should stop using this product immediately, and make sure it isn’t reachable to any children. Over 31,000 units of this product were sold for approximately $280. It was labeled as a Chadwick and Bailey Five-Drawer Chest and was manufactured in Vietnam. Both Bob’s discount furniture and Hillsdale Furniture sold this particular product.
