The popular school bus manufacturer, Thomas Built, is recalling 53,528 of their buses. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is a problem with impact absorption. This problem could result in serious harm to your child if the bus they were riding in was involved in an accident. This recall applies to bus models Saf-T Liner, EFX, Minotaur, Saf-T-Liner C2, and Saf-T-Liner HDX. If your children go to school, riding one of these buses that are 2014-2020 model years, they could be at risk of serious harm.
The company that owns Thomas Built Buses will notify the affected owners. Owners of these buses will be able to take their affected bus to the dealer for a free repair.
