Dangerous Trampolines Recalled

recalled

As of August 1st, Tramsasoa Sporting Goods Manufactory Co of China recalled their Super Jumper Trampolines. The products have been sold online at Wayfair.com, Amazon.com, Hayneedle.com. and Overstock.com. Products have been sold from 2011 throughout 2019 and ranged from $200 to $400. According to the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), there have been 97 official reports of the welds on the metal support rails breaking. This has resulted in consumers suffering injuries. If you have this trampoline, you should contact Super Jumper as soon as possible. They will send out a repair kit for you to use on the trampoline. You should receive metal clamps that will reinforce the trampoline to prevent it from collapsing. If you do have this product, stop using it immediately until you receive and use the repair kit.

According to the CPSC, the affected products are:

  • Super Jumper’s 14 foot and 16 combo trampolines with enclosures were sold without reinforcement clamps.
    • The 14-foot model has 6 metal legs.
    • The 16-foot model has 18 metal legs.
  • All affected models have the Super Jumper Logo on the center of the trampoline mat.
